Hemp tea as an aid to better sleep
Relaxation and peace promote natural sleep. Hemp makes it easier for people to fall asleep and also have long, continuous sleep. Hemp tea has no dizziness and other side effects. Fall asleep faster, sleep deeper and wake up rested and fresh. Reinforced in this way, anyone can face problems better. This, in turn, leads to better sleep, more rest and greater self-confidence.
Hemp tea for the immune system and self-healing powers
Hemp is also known for stimulating our bodies natural defences and self-healing powers. Another positive effect is that hemp promotes appetite. For these reasons, it is used more and more often as a natural remedy.
Hemp tea strengthens digestion
A functioning and healthy digestive system are important because the nutrients for the whole body and the brain are prepared and metabolized in the gut. Hemp tea blends stimulate the stomach and at the same time have a relaxing effect. A relaxed stomach does not ‘digest itself’ and is the best natural prevention against nausea.
Important tips for the preparation of hemp tea
1. Soft water makes hemp tea more intense
Hemp likes soft water. Like particularly goods and exclusive teas, hemp tea needs soft water to develop its full flavour.
2. Hemp tea – a rule of thumb for infusion time
Hemp tea IS generally infused at about 80 degrees. The infusion time of hemp tea ranges from 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the taste. The longer, the more bitter. Special hemp tea blends (e.g. with black Assam tea) are infused with hotter water (100 degrees), which usually shortens the brewing time.
3. Hemp and metal are not compatible
A good porcelain teapot is recommended for preparation.
The use of a tea egg or a metal tea tong is not recommended. In addition to the metal material, the rather large hemp leaves do not spread in the small round cages and cannot fully develop their aroma or effect.
4. Hemp tea needs fat
Many ingredients in hemp are water-soluble and pass into the tea. However, some active ingredients are only fat-soluble. In order to achieve the full effect and aroma of a hemp tea or a hemp tea mixture, it is advisable to drink a little milk, a few drops of oil or a glass of water before the infusion. This is the only way to get all good, healthy and tasty active substances of the hemp leaves into the hemp tea. Special lovers improve and refine their hemp tea with a few drops of hemp oil.
